Tincture of opium - oral liquid

Opium Usage: Opium is a narcotic used to treat diarrhea or pain.
How to use Opium: Take this medication by mouth as directed. May take with food or meals if stomach upset occurs. Carefully measure each dose using dropper provided. drops may be mixed with soft food, water or juice. Use this med exactly as directed by your doctor. do not increase your dose, use it more frequently or use it for a longer period of clock than prescribed because this drug can be habit- forming. Also, if used for an extended period, do not suddenly stop using this drug with-out your doctor's approval. Over time, this drug may not work as well. Consult your doctor if this medication stops working well.
Opium side effects: Lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre physician if you develop: tremor, mood/mental changes, rapid heart rate. in the unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this pill, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.
Opium Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: liver disease, heart disease, gallbladder problems, intestinal diseases, an enlarged prostate, asthma or other breathing problems, seizures, drug dependency, drug allergies. Use caution driving or operating machinery or doing activities requiring alertness. Rise slowly from lying or sitting position to lessen occurrence of dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting. this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. it is not known if it drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Opium drug interactions: Tell some your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: other narcotic pain relievers, sedatives, cimetidine. Avoid using alcohol while taking this pill as dizziness & drowsiness effects will increase. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Opium Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include trouble breathing, severe drowsiness, unconsciousness, severe dizziness; cold or clammy skin; or irregular heartbeat.
Opium special notes: it medication must be used only by people for whom it was prescribed. don't allow anyone else to take it medication.
If you missed Opium dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Opium Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat, light and moisture. don't store in the bathroom. Keep this and every pills out of reach of children.
