Decongestant/antihistamine/anticholinergic - oral

Amdry C Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat & itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have a drying effect on mucous secretions. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Amdry C: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more many times than directed. this medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Long-acting meds and capsules should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew them or the long action may be destroyed and the chance about side effects increased.

Amdry C side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose and eyes may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Amdry C Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're doctor promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're pharmacist. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Amdry C drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: drug for blood pressure, drug for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your pharmacist if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety medications (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure meds (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Amdry C Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry & flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

Amdry C special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it tablet. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Amdry C dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near clock for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Amdry C Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
