Trimox Usage: this drug is a penicillin-related antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use Trimox: Take this medication exactly as directed by your pharmacist. it med may be taken with or without food. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in you're body is kept in constant level. Do this by taking medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout day & night. Continue to take this medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow & may result in a relapse of infection.
Trimox side effects: this drug may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. Inform youre doctor if following rare side effects occur: sore mouth, sore throat, fever, easy bruising or bleeding. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Trimox Precautions: Before using it drug tell your doctor your medical history especially: kidney disease, stomach/intestinal problems, blood disorders, allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, any other allergies. Use of this med for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Before using this med, tell your physician if you pregnant. this drug is excreted into breast milk & may have an effect on a nursing infant. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Trimox drug interactions: Tell your physician and healthcare professional of every medications you may use both prescription & nonprescription, & especially: birth control tablets, live vaccines, tetracycline. it drug may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control tablets. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your physician. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Trimox Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include seizures, agitation, confusion, tremors hallucinations, unconsciousness, muscle weakness, or headaches.
Trimox special notes: it medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. different medication may be necessary in those cases.
If you missed Trimox dose: If you should miss dose, take it as soon as remembered unless It's almost clock for the next dose. If this is nearly time for next dose, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose.
Trimox Storage: Store at room temperature as directed by product labeling or youre prescription bottle. Store away from light & moisture. do not store in bathroom. Keep all medicines away from kid & pets.
