Hydrocodone Usage: Hydrocodone is cough medicine used to suppress dry, hacking cough. Homatropine helps to dry up nasal & breathing passages. this combination pill is used to suppress cough associated with cold.

How to use Hydrocodone: Take this medication with food if stomach upset occurs. this is strong cough medication and must only be used for the condition & by people for which It's prescribed. it must not be used for just any cough. this is helpful to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve cold symptoms.

Hydrocodone side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, tiredness, drowsiness, weakness, dry mouth or headache may occur 1'st some days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: rapid heart rate, chest pain, nightmares, hallucinations, blurred vision, trouble urinating. Because this medication can cause drowsiness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Hydrocodone Precautions: Elderly persons & those with heart problems may be more sensitive to this medication. Use it as directed. Avoid alcohol while taking it medication. this medication may make you sweat less. do not become overheated. Avoid hot baths or saunas while taking this med. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. Because small amounts of this medication appear at breast milk, consult with your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Hydrocodone drug interactions: Tell some your pharmacist about every prescription & nonprescription pills you may use, especially of medicines that may add a drowsiness effect such as: antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, other narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine), barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital), seizure medication, muscle relaxants, cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

Hydrocodone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, cold & clammy skin, dry mouth, & slow heartbeat.

Hydrocodone special notes: do not share it product with others.

If you missed Hydrocodone dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if Its almost clock since the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
