Vitamin B 1 Usage: Thiamine, vitamin B1, is necessary to prevent or treat stomach, heart or nerve problems caused by thiamine deficiency.
How to use Vitamin B 1: Take this medication as directed. Its usually taken three times a day with meals. Follow any special dietary recommendations made by your physician or nutritionist while taking this medication.
Vitamin B 1 side effects: it medication can cause itching, sweating, feeling of warmth, nausea, weakness, or restlessness. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to it drug. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: shortness of breath, tightness of throat. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Vitamin B 1 Precautions: If you have had a bad reaction (skin reaction, difficulty swallowing, or difficulty breathing) to thiamine at the past, tell your healthcare professional. Except in doses greater then recommended, thiamine is considered safe for use during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.

Vitamin B 1 special notes: Thiamine is common in foods such as dry beans, whole wheat flour, seeds & nuts, brewer's yeast, enriched & fortified grains & cereals, liver, kidney & pork. Eat more of these foods to increase amount of thiamine in your diet.
If you missed Vitamin B 1 dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible but not if It's almost time for next dose. If It's time for next dose, skip the missed dose & resume some your regular schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.
Vitamin B 1 Storage: Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom. do not freeze the liquid forms.
