Ambifed G Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Ambifed G: Take this tablet by mouth. this should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew tablet. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take this more much about times or longer than prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Ambifed G side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first several days as youre body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.
Ambifed G Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're physician. it is not known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Ambifed G drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication for hypertension. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Ambifed G Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Ambifed G special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Ambifed G dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Ambifed G Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store at the bathroom.
