Sodium Chloride Usage: this solution is added to other IV solutions as a sodium chloride supplement for people with very low sodium and/or chloride levels at theyre blood. this product is concentrated form of sodium chloride & must not be given by direct IV injection.
How to use Sodium Chloride: Follow all instructions for proper mixing & dilution with correct IV fluids. If you have questions regarding the use of this product, consult your pharmacist. it product must be diluted in an appropriate IV solution before It's given. Give this product by vein (IV) diluted in compatible solution as directed by doctor. dosage is based on your age, weight, medical condition and response to therapy. this solution must be checked visually for particles or discoloration before use. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Learn how to store and discard medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.
Sodium Chloride side effects: Tell some your pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but serious side effects occur: fever, swelling, irritation at injection site (e.g., redness, pain). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or doctor.
Sodium Chloride Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of heart problems (e.g., congestive heart failure), lung problems (pulmonary edema), kidney problems, liver problems (e.g., cirrhosis), low levels of potassium (hypokalemia), high levels of sodium (hypernatremia), swelling (edema), any allergies. Caution is advised when using this drug in infants since they may be more sensitive to the effects about product. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this tablet. it is unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Sodium Chloride drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), corticotropin. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or physician approval.
Sodium Chloride Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include: swelling, trouble breathing.
Sodium Chloride special notes: do not share it injection solution with others.
If you missed Sodium Chloride dose: Not applicable.
Sodium Chloride Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Consult some your physician for guide about stability & storage after mixing with other IV medications. Discard any unused liquid.
