Regulax Ss Usage: this med helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. it is used to treat constipation.

How to use Regulax Ss: Swallow capsules & meds whole with full glass of water or juice. liquid & syrup forms must be given in 6 to 8 ounces of milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained in 1 to 3 days after first dose.

Regulax Ss side effects: this drug may cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using it medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Regulax Ss Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by your doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) without obtaining youre doctor's advice.

Regulax Ss drug interactions: this drug is not recommended for use with mineral oil. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more following text. Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially aspirin.

Regulax Ss Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Regulax Ss special notes: Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink 4 to 6 glasses of water daily, include bulk or roughage in your diet, & exercise regularly.

If you missed Regulax Ss dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Regulax Ss Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
