Mytussin Ac Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Codeine is used to quiet a cough. this combination med is used to control cough & congestion associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Mytussin Ac: Take it medication with food if stomach upset occurs. Take this medication as directed. don't increase dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. this is strong cough drug and must only be used for condition & by person for which it is prescribed. it should not be used for just any cough. this is helpful to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

Mytussin Ac side effects: Drowsiness, constipation, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or headache may occur 1'st several days as some your body adjusts to pill. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate. Mytussin Ac tablet interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: sedatives, tranquilizers, narcotic pain relievers, sleeping pills, seizure med, muscle relaxants, drugs for depression, cimetidine, quinidine. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

Mytussin Ac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, cold & clammy skin, dry mouth, and slow pulse.

If you missed Mytussin Ac dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' doses.

Mytussin Ac Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and heat. do not store in the bathroom.
