Trimethobenzamide HCL Usage: this tablet is used to treat nausea & vomiting.
How to use Trimethobenzamide HCL: this medication is used through intramuscular injection (IM).
Trimethobenzamide HCL side effects: Diarrhea, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, or muscle cramps may occur as some your body adjusts to medication. If these effects persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify you're healthcare professional if you experience any about following: unusual bleeding, depression, confusion, tremors, involuntary movements of the eyes/face/limbs, muscle spasms, rash, mouth sores, yellowing of skin or eyes, blurred vision. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Trimethobenzamide HCL Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially: high fever, stomach problems (gastroenteritis), swelling/disease about the brain (encephalitis/encephalopathy), mineral (electrolyte) imbalance, any allergies. do not give children trimethobenzamide to treat vomiting when the cause of vomiting is unknown. Trimethobenzamide may worsen Reye's Syndrome, a rare but serious illness. don't give trimethobenzamide (or aspirin or acetaminophen) to kid with symptoms of Reye's Syndrome (sudden, severe, persistent vomiting; drowsiness or stupor; unusual behavior; and seizures). Call doctor immediately if these symptoms present. child and teenagers should not use it drug if they have chickenpox, influenza, or any undiagnosed illness without first consulting a doctor about Reye's syndrome. If dizziness or drowsiness occurs, use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving. Limit alcohol because it adds to the dizziness/drowsiness effects of trimethobenzamide. it injectable form of trimethobenzamide isn't recommended for use in children. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Trimethobenzamide HCL med interactions: Tell youre physician of every prescription and nonprescription meds you may use, including: narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine), sleeping pills, tranquilizers, sedatives, barbiturates (e.g. phenobarbital), drowsiness-causing antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Trimethobenzamide HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Trimethobenzamide HCL special notes: do not allow anyone else to use this medication.
If you missed Trimethobenzamide HCL dose: Use any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for next dose. If it is time for the following dose, skip the missed dose & resume some your regular schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Trimethobenzamide HCL Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
