    Nystatin with triamcinolone - topical

    (nye-stat-in with try-am-sin-oh-lone)

    common brand names: Myco-Triacet II, Mycolog II

    Mytrex Usage: this tablet is used to treat fungal skin infections while relieving itching & inflammation.

    How to use Mytrex: Clean & dry the affected region before applying medication. To apply, gently massage very small amount of the medication in to affected region and surrounding skin. Continue to use tablet as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear infection causing it to return. Try to avoid missing any doses, but do not apply it medicine more often than prescribed. Avoid using this drug around eyes, nose or mouth. do not bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your physician. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If not, contact youre healthcare professional.

    Mytrex side effects: Contact youre doctor if you experience burning, blistering, peeling, dryness, or another signs of irritation that were not present before you started using the med. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Mytrex Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other infections, every allergies. Though very unlikely, it is possible this drug will be absorbed into your bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & since those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. it is not known if this drug is found in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Mytrex drug interactions: Inform your doctor about all medicines (prescription & nonprescription) you use, especially of: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.

    Mytrex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Mytrex special notes: this med is prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require different medication. Inform every youre doctors you use (or have used) this medication.

    If you missed Mytrex dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; don't use if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Mytrex Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. do not freeze.
