Ambi 800 Usage: this drug is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm & mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Ambi 800: Take each dose of this medication with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous and clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless some your doctor instructs you otherwise. do not take this pill for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your physician. If cough lasts for more then one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, headache or rash, consult your pharmacist.
Ambi 800 side effects: it medication can cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Ambi 800 Precautions: If you have any of the next health problems, consult your doctor before using this drug: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Guaifenesin may affect the results of certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Ambi 800 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and unusually slow heartbeat.

If you missed Ambi 800 dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Ambi 800 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms of this drug. do not store syrup in the refrigerator.
