Trimethobenzamide HCL Usage: this drug is used to treat nausea and vomiting.
How to use Trimethobenzamide HCL: Swallow capsules with full glass about water or juice and take as directed by you're doctor.
Trimethobenzamide HCL side effects: Diarrhea, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, or muscle cramps may occur. If any about these effects persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre healthcare professional if you experience any of following: unusual bleeding, depression, confusion, tremors, involuntary movements about the eyes/face/limbs, muscle spasms, rash, mouth sores, vision changes, yellowing of eyes or skin. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Trimethobenzamide HCL Precautions: Tell youre doctor you're medical history, especially: high fever, stomach problems (gastroenteritis), swelling/disease of brain (encephalitis/encephalopathy), mineral (electrolyte) imbalance, any allergies. do not give children trimethobenzamide to treat vomiting when cause of vomiting is unknown. Trimethobenzamide may worsen Reye's Syndrome, a rare but serious illness. do not give trimethobenzamide (or aspirin or acetaminophen) to a child with symptoms about Reye's Syndrome (sudden, severe, persistent vomiting; drowsiness or stupor; unusual behavior; & seizures). Call the healthcare professional immediately if these symptoms are present. children & teenagers should not use this drug if they have chickenpox, influenza, or any undiagnosed illness without first consulting a doctor about Reye's syndrome. Limit alcohol intake because it adds to drowsiness and dizziness effects about trimethobenzamide. If dizziness or drowsiness occurs, use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Trimethobenzamide HCL tablet interactions: Tell youre doctor about every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine), sleeping tablets, tranquilizers, sedatives, barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital), drowsiness-causing antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Trimethobenzamide HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Trimethobenzamide HCL special notes: If vomiting occurs just after taking capsule, the medication may not have had chance to be absorbed. in these cases, use about the suppositories are recommended. Discuss it with your healthcare professional or doctor. do not allow anyone else to take this medication.
If you missed Trimethobenzamide HCL dose: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the following dose. If it is time for following dose, skip missed dose & resume you're regular schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Trimethobenzamide HCL Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture and sunlight. don't store at bathroom.
