Tri Acting Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Tri Acting: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug, unless you're pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Tri Acting side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to tablet. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing at ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Tri Acting Precautions: Tell youre doctor you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding. do not give it pill to a children younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by healthcare professional.
Tri Acting drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional what drugs you take, especially of: hypertension meds, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. don't take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Tri Acting Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Tri Acting special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Tri Acting dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tri Acting Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
