Trimethobenzamide Usage: this pill is used to control nausea and vomiting.
How to use Trimethobenzamide: Unwrap the suppository & insert it gently but completely in to the rectum, pointed-end 1st. Avoid excessive handling of suppository so that it doesn't melt before use. it med is usually used three to 4 times day. Use it exactly as prescribed. don't increase your dose or use it drug more much times then directed.
Trimethobenzamide side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness or headache may occur. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: jaundice (e.g., yellowing about eyes or skin, dark urine), blurred vision, mental confusion, muscle cramps, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.
Trimethobenzamide Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially about: high fever, stomach problems (gastroenteritis), swelling/disease of brain (encephalitis/encephalopathy), mineral (electrolyte) imbalance, any allergies. do not give children trimethobenzamide to treat vomiting when the cause about vomiting is unknown. Trimethobenzamide may worsen Reye's Syndrome, rare but serious illness. do not give trimethobenzamide (or aspirin or acetaminophen) to a kid with symptoms about Reye's Syndrome (sudden, severe, persistent vomiting; drowsiness or stupor; unusual behavior; and seizures). Call the doctor immediately if these symptoms present. children & teenagers should not use it drug if they have chickenpox, influenza, or any undiagnosed illness without first consulting a doctor about Reye's syndrome. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this med makes you drowsy or dizzy. Limit alcohol intake because this will add to dizziness or drowsiness effects of this tablet. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. this is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Trimethobenzamide drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist about all prescription & nonprescription meds you may use, especially of: narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine), sleeping pills, tranquilizers, sedatives, barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital), drowsiness-causing antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Trimethobenzamide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you missed Trimethobenzamide dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if Its near the clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. don't double the dose to catch up.
Trimethobenzamide Storage: Store suppositories at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in the bathroom.
