Codituss Dh Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Codituss Dh: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase you're dose or take this more often than directed. this medication is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.

Codituss Dh side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the first several days as youre body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Codituss Dh Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of medication dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this drug causes you to feel drowsy. cash it product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. it med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Codituss Dh medication interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take, including: blood pressure tablets, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain tablet (e.g., codeine). Limit you're intake about alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.

Codituss Dh Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or quick heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Codituss Dh special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it tablet. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Codituss Dh dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near clock for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Codituss Dh Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
