Coal tar shampoo - topical

Pc Tar Usage: Coal tar shampoo is used to treat the itching and skin flaking/irritation caused by certain skin conditions of the head & scalp (e.g., dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis).

How to use Pc Tar: Apply this medication onto the hair & scalp usually twice weekly; or as directed by you're pharmacist. Shake the bottle well before each application/shampoo. Wet youre hair thoroughly with water & rub the shampoo into lather on your hair & scalp. Rinse your hair well with water and repeat. this medicated shampoo is for use on scalp and hair only. do not use if you have open skin (e.g., sores/wounds) on some your scalp. Avoid gettin any of this shampoo in youre eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists or worsens, contact your healthcare professional promptly. Avoid getting any of this shampoo on you're clothes. it product may stain your clothing.

Pc Tar side effects: Minor skin/scalp irritation or darkened/stained skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify youre doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: big and/or painful skin sores/pimples on scalp. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Pc Tar Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. this medication may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or wear protective clothing or a hat when outdoors. Tell your pharmacist if you pregnant before using it medicated shampoo. it is unknown if it drug passes into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Pc Tar drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional about every prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially: other medicated shampoos or topical products. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Pc Tar Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this product may be harmful if swallowed.

Pc Tar special notes: don't share this product with others.

If you missed Pc Tar dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Pc Tar Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
