Bisac Evac Usage: it medication is a stimulant laxative. this acts by irritating the digestive tract & stimulates intestinal activity. it is used to treat constipation or to clean out the intestinal tract before bowel examinations or bowel surgery.
How to use Bisac Evac: To use suppository, unwrap it & moisten it slightly in lukewarm water. Lie on your left side with the right knee slightly bent. Insert suppository in to the rectum with you're finger. If possible, avoid a bowel movement for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the drug to work.
Bisac Evac side effects: this pill may cause stomach ache, cramping, weakness, sweating, irritation about rectal region, diarrhea, or dizziness. Notify your physician if you experience: chest pain, fainting, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using this tablet. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Bisac Evac Precautions: do not use bisacodyl with out consulting your healthcare professional if you have: severe nausea, vomiting, gastritis, another stomach or intestinal problems, recent abdominal surgery, rectal bleeding, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, appendicitis, allergy to bisacodyl. If patient is under 6 years of age, consult child's doctor before using this drug. Before using bisacodyl, tell you're pharmacist if you are pregnant. it isnt known if bisacodyl passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor if you are breast-feeding.
Bisac Evac drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription and nonprescription medication you may use. do not stop or start any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.
Bisac Evac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Bisac Evac special notes: Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink 4 to 6 glasses about water daily, include bulk or roughage in your diet, & exercise regularly.
If you missed Bisac Evac dose: If you miss a dose, skip missed dose. do not double dose.
Bisac Evac Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
