Koromex Coil Spring 55mm Usage: this barrier device is used to prevent pregnancy.

How to use Koromex Coil Spring 55mm: To be most effective, diaphragm is used with a spermicide contraceptive as directed. Practice inserting & removing the diaphragm in doctor's office to learn proper placement. Prior to sexual intercourse, place the proper amount about spermicide into diaphragm & spread few around the outer ring. Insert the diaphragm into the vagina to cover cervix. the diaphragm & spermicide must remain in place since 6-8 hours after the last act of intercourse (time is dependent upon the product information for the spermicide). diaphragm must be removed as soon as possible after it time period. diaphragm should not be worn continuously for more then 24 hours. If additional spermicide is required while diaphragm is worn, diaphragm must not be removed to apply spermicide. Wash the diaphragm using warm, soapy water. Dry it & hold it to the light to check for any holes or tears. Place diaphragm in case for proper storage. diaphragm must be refitted after childbirth & must be checked at all annual pelvic exam.

Koromex Coil Spring 55mm side effects: there are no side effects associated with proper use of the diaphragm. Spermicides can cause irritation or burning. If this occurs, contact your doctor.

Koromex Coil Spring 55mm Precautions: Avoid use about petroleum jelly with the diaphragm. Petroleum can weaken latex causing tears & leaks.
