Corticosteroids - ophthalmic drops
Dexasol Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling & itching of eye (ophthalmic).
How to use Dexasol: Use this as prescribed. To apply eye medication, wash hands 1st. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip or let it touch affected area to avoid contamination. Shake suspension form well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer the prescribed number about drops. look downward & gently close youre eye for 1 to 2 minutes. If you using another kind of eye tablet, wait five to ten minutes before applying.
Dexasol side effects: side effects listed assume short-term use of this pill. it medication may temporarily sting when first applied. If this persists or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye medication. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: skin rash, itching, redness or swelling in or around eyes. Very unlikely effects: persistent vision problems, watering eyes, eye pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Dexasol Precautions: Before using this med, tell your doctor: any allergies, infections, eye problems. Using contact lenses during treatment with it drug may increase the chance of developing an eye infection. Prolonged use may result at glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye problems. Consult your physician or doctor. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your doctor. Consult youre doctor if breast-feeding.
Dexasol pill interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription drug you use. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Dexasol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Dexasol special notes: If the condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult your healthcare professional.
If you missed Dexasol dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Dexasol Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
