Guaifenesin/decongestant - oral liquid
Biotuss Pe Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. it combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Biotuss Pe: Take this medication by mouth as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more much of of times or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Biotuss Pe side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur 1'st several days as you're body adjusts to med. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify you're doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Biotuss Pe Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. it is not known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.
Biotuss Pe drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, high blood pressure drugs. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in the last 2 weeks. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Biotuss Pe Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Biotuss Pe special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Biotuss Pe dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Biotuss Pe Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
