Hc Tussive D Usage: this medication has a decongestant which relieves nasal stuffiness and narcotic antitussive used to suppress cough. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Hc Tussive D: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this med is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack.
Hc Tussive D side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, constipation, nausea or stomach upset may occur first some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, tremors, nervousness, mental confusion, breathing trouble. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if it med causes you to feel drowsy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.
Hc Tussive D Precautions: Tell your pharmacist youre medical history, especially about: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, depression, history of drug dependency, allergies (especially medication allergies). it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. since small amounts about this med found in breast milk, consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Hc Tussive D medication interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: pill for blood pressure, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, cimetidine. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this med. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Hc Tussive D Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, numbness & tingling of hands & feet, irregular heartbeat, weakness, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or unconsciousness.
Hc Tussive D special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Hc Tussive D dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Hc Tussive D Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
