Biotussin Dac Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. the decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. this combination med is used to treat a cough and relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Biotussin Dac: this tablet is best taken with, or after, meal or snack. Take this medication as prescribed. don't increase youre dose or take this more often than directed.

Biotussin Dac side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur the first several days as you're body adjusts to the med. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or doctor.

Biotussin Dac Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history about pill dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if it medication causes you to feel drowsy. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. this product must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre physician. at least one of the ingredients in this combination product is known to be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Biotussin Dac drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Biotussin Dac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

Biotussin Dac special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this pill. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Biotussin Dac dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Biotussin Dac Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
