Maxiflor Usage: it medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.
How to use Maxiflor: Clean & dry affected region before applying med. To apply, gently massage small amount of the drug into affected area & surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you are instructed to do so by youre doctor. don't use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with it medication in the diaper area. Avoid using this med around the eyes unless directed to do so by some your doctor.
Maxiflor side effects: this drug may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to the skin. this should disappear in a several days as you're body adjusts to med. this medication may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Skin infections can become worse when using this medication. Notify you're physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Maxiflor Precautions: don't use it drug near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isnt recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, It's possible this drug will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for child & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult you're healthcare professional or pharmacist for more details. this pill should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss the benefits and risks with youre doctor. Small amounts of this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Maxiflor drug interactions: Tell some your healthcare professional about all meds you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Maxiflor Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Maxiflor special notes: Inform all you're physicians you use (or have used) this medication. don't share this medication with others.
If you missed Maxiflor dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Maxiflor Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
