Amoxicillin, carbenicillin, bacampicillin - oral

Geocillin Usage: it medication is a penicillin-related antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety about bacterial infections.

How to use Geocillin: Take this tablet exactly as directed by you're pharmacist. it drug may be taken with or without food. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Do this by taking the drug at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day & night. Continue to take it med until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after several days. Stopping drug too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow & may result in a relapse of infection.

Geocillin side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician. Inform your doctor if next rare side effects occur: sore mouth, sore throat, fever, easy bruising or bleeding. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

Geocillin Precautions: Before using this drug tell you're healthcare professional your medical history especially: kidney disease, stomach/intestinal problems, blood disorders, allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, any another allergies. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Before using this drug, tell your doctor if you pregnant. this tablet is excreted into breast milk & may have an effect on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Geocillin drug interactions: Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all drugs you may use both prescription & nonprescription, and especially: birth control pills, live vaccines, tetracycline. this medication may interfere with effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Geocillin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, agitation, confusion, tremors hallucinations, unconsciousness, muscle weakness, or headaches.

Geocillin special notes: it med has been prescribed for your current condition only. don't use this later for another infection or give it to someone else. a different medication may be necessary in those cases.

If you missed Geocillin dose: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless It's almost time for next dose. If Its nearly time for the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

Geocillin Storage: Store at room temperature as directed by the product labeling or you're prescription bottle. Store away from light & moisture. do not store in bathroom. Keep every medicines away from children and pets.
