Woman's Laxative Docusate Sod Usage: it drug helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. it is used to treat constipation.
How to use Woman's Laxative Docusate Sod: Swallow capsules and meds whole with full glass about water or juice. the liquid & syrup forms must be given in six to 8 ounces about milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained in 1 to 3 days after 1-st dose.
Woman's Laxative Docusate Sod side effects: this drug can cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using this medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Woman's Laxative Docusate Sod Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by some your doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, don't take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) without obtaining your doctor's advice.

Woman's Laxative Docusate Sod special notes: Laxatives must only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink four to 6 glasses about water per day, include bulk or roughage in youre diet, & exercise regularly.
If you missed Woman's Laxative Docusate Sod dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
