Iotex Pse Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Iotex Pse: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. don't increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Iotex Pse side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1-st some days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.
Iotex Pse Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. this is not known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Iotex Pse drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take including: sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, drug for high blood pressure. Tell youre doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or doctor approval.
Iotex Pse Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

If you missed Iotex Pse dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Iotex Pse Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
