    Dextromethorphan w/decongestant - oral

    Soba Tussin Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Soba Tussin: Take this medication as prescribed. do not increase youre dose or take it more often then directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.

    Soba Tussin side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the 1st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Soba Tussin Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: heart disease, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially med allergies). bucks it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts of it drug are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Soba Tussin drug interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: blood pressure medications, drugs used to reduce weight, heart medication, drug that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use this product together with an MAO inhibitor, or since two weeks after stopping the MAO inhibitor med. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Soba Tussin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.

    Soba Tussin special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Soba Tussin dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Soba Tussin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
