    Refenesen PLUS Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Refenesen PLUS: Take this medication by mouth. this must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this med as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

    Refenesen PLUS side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first few days as you're body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify you're doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Refenesen PLUS Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with some your healthcare professional. It's not known if it drug appears in breast milk; consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Refenesen PLUS drug interactions: Tell your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication since HBP. Tell your physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Refenesen PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

    Refenesen PLUS special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Refenesen PLUS dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Refenesen PLUS Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store at bathroom.
