Proferrin Forte Usage: Heme iron polypeptide is form about iron supplement. it is used to treat or prevent iron deficiency anemia (low red blood cell count). Certain medical conditions may increase the risk about iron deficiency (e.g., pregnancy, certain surgery, chemotherapy, kidney failure). it is typically used in people who cannot absorb or tolerate regular iron products (e.g., ferrous sulfate). Folic acid is a B-vitamin used to treat certain anemias due to poor diet, pregnancy, and other conditions.

How to use Proferrin Forte: Take it pill by mouth usually once or 2 times per day with or without meals; or as directed by your healthcare professional. Take this med with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your pharmacist directs you otherwise. do not lie down since 30 minutes after taking it drug. dosage depends on you're medical condition & response to therapy.

Proferrin Forte side effects: An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate doctor attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Proferrin Forte Precautions: Before using it drug, tell your physician or pharmacist some your medical history, especially of: iron metabolism disorders (hemochromatosis), other types about anemia (e.g., pernicious anemia), any allergies (especially to meat products). it product is made from red blood cells of steers (bovine). If you prefer not to use goods made from animal sources, consult your doctor regarding other iron-containing products. this drug is safe to use during pregnancy when taken as directed by your doctor. this is not known whether the iron component of this drug passes into breast milk. Folic acid passes in to breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Proferrin Forte medication interactions: Before using this medication, tell your pharmacist or pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: other iron-containing products (e.g., multivitamins), phenytoin. this product can affect the results about certain lab tests (e.g., testing for blood in stools). Make sure laboratory personnel and some your pharmacists know you use it pill. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Proferrin Forte Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: vomiting, severe stomach upset.

Proferrin Forte special notes: do not share it tablet with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor your progress.

If you missed Proferrin Forte dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near clock of following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Proferrin Forte Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep every medicines away from children & pets.
