Maxifed Dmx Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination medication is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Maxifed Dmx: this medication is best taken with a full glass about water after a meal or snack. Swallow long acting pills & capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because the long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased. Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
Maxifed Dmx side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're pharmacist. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Maxifed Dmx Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre healthcare professional. this medication may be excreted into breast milk. Consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Maxifed Dmx drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all prescription & nonprescription medications you use, especially: medication for blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Maxifed Dmx Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of the eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or fast heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, big pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Maxifed Dmx special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Maxifed Dmx dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if Its near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Maxifed Dmx Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
