Iosal Ii Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Iosal Ii: Take it medication by mouth. this should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer then prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Iosal Ii side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1st several days as youre body adjusts to the pill. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. Iosal Ii Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. It's not known if this medication appears at breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Iosal Ii drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, med for HBP. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Iosal Ii Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

If you missed Iosal Ii dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Iosal Ii Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
