    Antihistamines with decongestants - oral

    Tri Gestan S Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.

    How to use Tri Gestan S: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this drug, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.

    Tri Gestan S side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify some your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or doctor.

    Tri Gestan S Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre doctor promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this med to a children younger then six years about age unless directed to do so by a physician.

    Tri Gestan S pill interactions: Tell your pharmacist what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, another cold or allergy medication. don't take this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Tri Gestan S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

    Tri Gestan S special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Tri Gestan S dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Tri Gestan S Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
