Mindal Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Mindal: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew the pill. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Mindal side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Mindal Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician. Its not known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult youre physician before breast-feeding.
Mindal drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, medication since high blood pressure. Tell your physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or doctor approval.
Mindal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

If you missed Mindal dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Mindal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
