Aluminum Chloride Usage: this medication is used on the skin to help control excessive sweating.
How to use Aluminum Chloride: Apply it tablet as directed to affected region with special applicator. this is usually applied 1 time day in bedtime for the first several days then one time or 2 times week as needed. for maximum effect, make sure region is completely dry before applying medication. Apply thin layer of solution than cover region with plastic wrap kept in place by snug fitting T-shirt, sock or mitten depending on area being treated. in morning, wash the treated region. Avoid contact with the eyes. do not apply to broken, irritated or recently shaved skin.
Aluminum Chloride side effects: Burning or prickly sensation may occur when first applied. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop: a skin rash, redness/ irritation/swelling in treated region. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Aluminum Chloride Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor.
Aluminum Chloride drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Aluminum Chloride Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Aluminum Chloride special notes: it drug may stain clothing or certain fabrics. Handle with caution.
If you missed Aluminum Chloride dose: If you miss an application, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Aluminum Chloride Storage: Store this drug at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
