Thera Hist Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Thera Hist: Take this medication by mouth as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

Thera Hist side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur 1st few days as your body adjusts to pill. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Thera Hist Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially med allergies). Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. It's not known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult youre physician before breast-feeding.

Thera Hist drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, high blood pressure drugs. Tell you're healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Thera Hist Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

If you missed Thera Hist dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if Its almost time since next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Thera Hist Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
