Alu Cap Usage: Aluminum hydroxide is an antacid. it reduces stomach acid relieving heartburn & indigestion. Its used to treat an upset stomach, ulcers, hiatal hernia or other digestive problems.

Alu Cap can be used also for: this medication may also be used to treat high phosphate levels.

How to use Alu Cap: Take it tablet as directed usually between meals & in bedtime. do not take more than is prescribed. Too much antacid can actually increase the amount about acid stomach produces.

Alu Cap side effects: this drug is generally well tolerated. Loss of appetite or constipation may occur. Notify youre physician if you develop: vomit that looks like coffee grounds, dark tar-like stools. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Alu Cap Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: stomach disorders, allergies (especially drug allergies). it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're healthcare professional. Small amounts of this drug may be excreted in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Alu Cap drug interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, especially of: iron, oral anti-diabetic drug, tetracycline, digoxin. Antacids can interfere with the absorption of much of another drugs. Be sure to check with your pharmacist before taking antacids with any another medication. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Alu Cap Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include constipation.

If you missed Alu Cap dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Alu Cap Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, light & moisture. do not store in the bathroom.
