    Guaifenesin/decongestant/antihistamine - oral

    Lemohist PLUS Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. this combination tablet is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Lemohist PLUS: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this drug is best taken with full glass about water after a meal or snack.

    Lemohist PLUS side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur first few days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit some your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Lemohist PLUS Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, allergies (especially pill allergies). cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your pharmacist. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Lemohist PLUS drug interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: blood pressure medications, antidepressants, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain drugs (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking it medication. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Lemohist PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, drowsiness, abnormal tongue movement, slurred speech, or seizures.

    Lemohist PLUS special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Lemohist PLUS dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Lemohist PLUS Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store at the bathroom.
