    Eye lubricant - ophthalmic

    Simular Drugs : Genteal, Genteal Mild, Genteal Pf

    Genteal Usage: it medication is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.

    How to use Genteal: Use this tablet in eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top about the ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place the dropper directly over the eye & administer the prescribed number about drops. look downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at corner of the eye near nose and apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the tablet from draining away from eye. for ointment, hold tube directly over eye & gently squeeze a small ribbon of the ointment in to eye. Slowly roll your eye in every directions to spread ointment. Try not to blink and don't rub the eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying another medications.

    Genteal side effects: this medication may temporarily sting your eyes when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome or condition since which this was prescribed does not improve within several days, inform youre healthcare professional. Vision may be temporarily unstable for few minutes after applying this. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.

    Genteal Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using it drug. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult youre doctor before you breast-feed.

    Genteal med interactions: Tell youre pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, especially of: other eye med. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.

    Genteal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Genteal special notes: few products contain preservatives which may cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss various products with your health care professional.

    If you missed Genteal dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use it if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Genteal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard this if the solution is not clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
