Tri Fed Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Tri Fed: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this drug, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify youre doctor. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently then recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Tri Fed side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as some your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Tri Fed Precautions: Tell your physician youre medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this drug to a kid younger then 6 years of age unless directed to do so by healthcare professional.
Tri Fed drug interactions: Tell you're pharmacist what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure medications, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Tri Fed Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Tri Fed dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Tri Fed Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
