Supartz Usage: this drug is used to treat arthritis about knee. it should be used only after non-drug treatment and simple medication (e.g., acetaminophen) have failed to provide relief.

How to use Supartz: this drug is given by injection in to the affected joint by your doctor once week. Complete the full treatment course, even if you are already feeling better. Follow all instructions. You may not feel clear pain relief until after last injection in the series.

Supartz side effects: Injection site pain, itching, swelling, heat or redness of joint or headache may occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist. Very unlikely but report promptly: fever, bruising, rapid heartbeat, sweating, fainting, chest or stomach pressure/pain, redness about hands or feet. in unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.

Supartz Precautions: Before using this med, tell your doctor some your medical history, including: allergies (especially med allergies), infections & skin diseases in region of the injection site, knee joint infections. Avoid heavy physical activity or prolonged use of the affected joint (such as jogging, tennis) within 48 hours following the injection. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre doctor. It's not known if this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Supartz pill interactions: Tell your doctor about all nonprescription or prescription medication you may use, especially about: skin disinfectants that contain ammonium salts. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Supartz Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Supartz special notes: Non-drug treatments for arthritis include avoiding activities that cause excess joint pain, MD-approved exercises & physical therapy.

If you missed Supartz dose: If you miss dose, consult your doctor to establish a new dosing schedule promptly.

Supartz Storage: Store at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
