Actanol Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Actanol: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this drug, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify you're healthcare professional. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Actanol side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as some your body adjusts to drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Actanol Precautions: Tell you're doctor youre medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. money this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this medication to a kid younger than six years about age unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.
Actanol pill interactions: Tell you're pharmacist what drugs you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy med. do not take it drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.
Actanol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Actanol dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
