Trifed Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Trifed: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify you're physician. don't increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Trifed side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as youre body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify some your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or doctor.
Trifed Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. money this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. do not give this drug to a child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by pharmacist.
Trifed drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist what drugs you take, especially of: HBP medications, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Trifed Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Trifed special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Trifed dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Trifed Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
