Profen Forte DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses a cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination pill is used to treat cough and relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Profen Forte DM: it med is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack. Swallow long acting tablets & capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased. Take this medication as prescribed. don't increase you're dose or take this more often then directed.

Profen Forte DM side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're physician. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.

Profen Forte DM Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any med allergies. dollars this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Profen Forte DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or fast heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, large pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.

Profen Forte DM special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Profen Forte DM dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Profen Forte DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
