Doxycycline Hyclate Usage: Tetracyclines are antibiotics used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use Doxycycline Hyclate: this tablet must be administered as directed by youre healthcare professional. Antibiotics work best when amount about medicine in some your body is kept at a constant level. Do this by using medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout day & night. Continue to use this medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse about infection.
Doxycycline Hyclate side effects: this medication can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, headache or vomiting. If these symptoms persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tetracyclines increase sensitivity to sunlight. Unlikely but report promptly: fever, increased thirst, sore throat, mouth, yellowing eyes & skin, vision/mental changes. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Doxycycline Hyclate Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: kidney or liver problems, allergies (especially drug allergies). Use of it tablet for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). this drug may make you more prone to sunburn. Wear protective clothing & sunscreen if needed. this drug must not be used by child up to 8 years of age because it is use may permanently discolor theyre teeth or cause other problems. Caution is advised in older children also. this tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult you're physician before using this drug. this drug is excreted in to breast milk and has been shown to have undesirable effects on nursing infants. Therefore, Its use isn't recommended while breast-feeding. Consult your pharmacist before you breast-feed.
Doxycycline Hyclate medication interactions: Inform you're doctor about every medicines you use (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: penicillin-type antibiotics, live vaccines, warfarin, digoxin, methoxyflurane. this medicine may decrease effectiveness about oral contraceptives. Consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist of other types of birth control. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Doxycycline Hyclate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Doxycycline Hyclate special notes: it drug has been prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. a different drug may be necessary.
If you missed Doxycycline Hyclate dose: If you should miss dose, use it as soon as remembered unless It's almost clock for next dose. If It's nearly time for following dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.
Doxycycline Hyclate Storage: this medication should be stored properly. Review storage instructions with youre doctor or healthcare professional. Intravenous bags are to be stored in refrigerator. Let a refrigerated bag sit at room temperature at least one hour before using. check expiration date before using. Store vial at room temperature away from sunlight.
