Entuss D Usage: this medication has decongestant which relieves nasal stuffiness & narcotic antitussive used to suppress cough. it combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Entuss D: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase youre dose or take it more often than directed. this tablet is best taken with a full glass about water after meal or snack.
Entuss D side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, constipation, nausea or stomach upset may occur the 1st several days as your body adjusts to the drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, tremors, nervousness, mental confusion, breathing trouble. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if it medication causes you to feel drowsy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Entuss D Precautions: Tell your doctor some your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, depression, history of medication dependency, allergies (especially tablet allergies). it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts of this medication are found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Entuss D medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: medication for blood pressure, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, cimetidine. Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this drug. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Entuss D Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, numbness & tingling of hands & feet, irregular heartbeat, weakness, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or unconsciousness.
Entuss D special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Entuss D dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Entuss D Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
