Doan's Extra Strength Usage: this pill is an anti-inflammatory agent used to relieve pain, reduce swelling (inflammation) of arthritis and reduce fever.

How to use Doan's Extra Strength: Take it medication by mouth with food or full glass of milk or water (8oz. or 240 ml) as directed by some your physician. dosage is based on your medical condition & response to therapy. If you taking this med for pain or fever and there is no improvement within 5 days, stop taking this drug & consult your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Doan's Extra Strength side effects: Heartburn, nausea, vomiting, and headache may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify you're doctor. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, ringing in ears, changes in you're hearing. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking this drug & consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist immediately: bloody or black stools, coffee-ground vomit, persistent stomach/abdominal pain. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice any other side effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Doan's Extra Strength Precautions: Tell some your physician your medical history, especially of: kidney or liver disease, stomach/intestinal ulcers, any allergies (especially to aspirin). this med can cause stomach bleeding. per day use of alcohol & this drug may increase some your risk for stomach bleeding. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects about drug. children and teenagers should not take this medication if they have chicken pox, influenza, or any undiagnosed illness without 1st consulting a doctor about Reye's syndrome, rare but serious illness. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. Magnesium salicylate is excreted at to breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Doan's Extra Strength med interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription tablets you may use, especially: probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, phenylbutazone, 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin, heparin), aspirin, other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen), ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril, enalapril), acetazolamide, oral diabetic medicine (e.g., chlorpropamide, glyburide, tolbutamide), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), methotrexate, anti-seizure pill (e.g., phenytoin, valproic acid), tetracycline antibiotics (e.g., doxycycline, minocycline, tetracycline). dollars labels on all you're medicines because they can contain aspirin or aspirin-like NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen). Ask your physician about safe use of these products. this pill may interfere with certain laboratory tests. Inform laboratory personnel that you are taking this tablet. don't start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Doan's Extra Strength Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, severe vomiting, change in amount of urine, rapid & shallow breathing.

Doan's Extra Strength special notes: do not share this tablet with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor for side effects or response to treatment. If you have diabetes, it medication may affect your blood sugar and may cause false test results with some urine glucose tests (e.g., Clinistix, Clinitest). money with you're doctor before adjusting the dose about your diabetes medicine.

If you missed Doan's Extra Strength dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time of the next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

Doan's Extra Strength Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
