Corticosteroids - topical
Triderm Usage: it drug is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & another irritations.
How to use Triderm: Clean and dry affected area before applying the drug. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the tablet into the affected region & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by you're physician. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this medication in diaper region. Avoid using this medication around the eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Triderm side effects: this pill may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when first applied to the skin. this should disappear in few days as some your body adjusts to the medication. this pill may also cause skin thinning and discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're healthcare professional. Skin infections can become worse when using it drug. Notify your physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly next side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Triderm Precautions: do not use this medication near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isn't recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible it medication will be absorbed into you're bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true since kid & for those who have used it since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this tablet. Consult your doctor or pharmacist since more details. it medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with your healthcare professional. Small amounts of it medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding.
Triderm medication interactions: Tell your doctor of all medications you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Triderm Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Triderm special notes: Inform all your pharmacists you use (or have used) this drug. do not share it medication with others.
If you missed Triderm dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Triderm Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
