Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, tablet

Profed Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Profed: Take it medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew pill. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it tablet as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Profed side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it drug can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or pharmacist.
Profed Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if it medication appears in breast milk; consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Profed drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication since high blood pressure. Tell you're physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last 2 weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Profed Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
Profed special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Profed dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Profed Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
