Detuss Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. it combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Detuss: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. this med is best taken with a full glass of water after meal or snack.

Detuss side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Detuss Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
